Multicultural Celebrations
Stockport Town Hall is the ideal venue for multi-cultural weddings and receptions. This distinctive building has hosted a variety of events including Jewish, Hindu, Sikh and Muslim weddings and celebrations.

Room Hire
The magnificent ballroom can seat up to 450 people for dinner

The ballroom can be hired for a minimum 5 hour let for:

  • Prices applicable until 31st March 2012

    • Monday to Friday - £1000.00
    • Saturday and Sunday - £1350.00

  • Prices applicable until 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2014
    • Monday to Friday - £1050.00
    • Saturday and Sunday - £1365.00

Please note price subject to increase 1st April 2014.

Ballroom hire includes:

  • Private brides room
  • Entrance via the marble staircase and use of this area for photographs
  • Use of chairs and tables, both circular and rectangular
  • Fully fitted PA system with CD and mini disk player
  • Stage with chairs for photographs
  • Kitchen and serving room suitable for warming food

Each additional hour, or part thereof, prior to midnight £155.00

Each additional half hour, or part thereof, after midnight £155.00

The Town Hall is also able to offer additional rooms, which can be used for a variety of activities such as waiting areas, changing rooms and additional photograph areas at £75.00 each.

Additional Facilities

  • Secure car parking at the Town Hall at a minimal charge
  • A fully staffed cloakroom facility for an additional charge of £80.00 (Monday to Thursday), £95.00 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Please note all prices are subject to increase on 1 April each year.

Catering:

If you are booking a multi-cultural wedding you may wish to use your own caterer.

Charges are as follows:

  • Soft drinks concession: £160.00
  • Alcohol and soft drinks concession £590.00

Please note that if you choose to use your own caterer, you must provide all cutlery, crockery, glassware and table cloths.
