These ornate rooms are suitable for parties of all sizes and offer a superb backdrop to your ceremony and an excellent location for memorable photographs.
Ceremony Rooms
The Marble Staircase
A sweeping double staircase at the heart of the Town Hall made out of marble imported from Sicilly at the turn of the last century. The marble staircase is ideal for ceremonies of up to 70 people.
The Council Chamber
A beautiful semi-circular ceremonial room with a domed ceiling and four stained glass windows. With intricately carved leather upholstered seating, this room is ideal for ceremonies of up to 120 people.
The Committee Suite
A suite of distinctive and elegant oak panelled rooms, each with stained glass windows, domed ceilings and chandeliers. The three committee rooms are available separately or as one large room. Ideal for ceremonies of up to 112 people.
Hire Fee: £375.00 inclusive of VAT.
Price applicable to 31st March 2012. £395.00 inclusive of VAT. Price applicable 1st April 2012 – 31st March 2014.
This includes hire of the ceremony room, optional silk floral arrangements, music of your choice (non-religious), private brides room, brides secret entrance (if desired) and reserved car parking for the bridal party.
Please note all prices are subject to increase on 1 April 2014.
Car parking for guests can be arranged at a nominal fee for ceremonies taking place on a Saturday.
Drinks Reception
Celebrate your marriage in style following the ceremony with a drinks reception held at the base of the marble staircase, whilst having your photographs taken.
