 Join us for a tour of the magnificent Town Hall.
- See the splendour of the Marble staircase
- Search for the devils head
- Learn of the Town's place in history through the splendour of the stained glass
- Admire the wooden carvings inspired by the work of Grinling Gibbons
- Thrill to the sound of the mighty Wurlitzer Organ
- A cup of complimentary Tea/coffee is included.
For the first time since the Town Hall Centenary celebrations the Workshipful the Mayor of Stockport is opening her personal quarters to the public and will also be in attendance to demonstrate the Chains of Office..
Tours take place at 10am, 12 noon and 2pm and last approximately 1 hour.
Places are limited to 25 per tour. Please call 0161 474 3451 to book a place.
Those attending the tour will receive a complimentary limited edition Centenary postcard and a tour guide.
